MIchele and Bob were celebrating a landmark birthday in style at their lovely home in Great Sutton. I had previously played at relatives’ weddings and they had picked up one of my cards.
Fortunately the weather on the day was good and guests were able to circulate inside the house and out. With the baby grand set up in their ample conservatory, I played a few sets of background music with the odd boogie thrown in for some guests who had “taken up positions” near the piano.
Bob then connected his impressive sound system up and the evening proceedings began. I’m pleased the weather was so favourable and with so many comfy chairs outside, I’m sure they had a great night too!

Pianist Vocalist for QVC Corporate Event at West Tower, Aughton, Lancs
I had great fun at a corporate event for QVC held at West Tower Exclusive Venue in Aughton on Wednesday. It was to pay tribute to QVC staff who had been working for the company for over 5 years. There were many members who had been there for much longer too so staff loyalty is obviously something that is appreciated and encouraged there.
The men and women at the dinner all had a great evening with some more than keen to join in the singing!! Congratulations to QVC for devolping such a great relationship with staff and thank you West Tower for putting on another great event!
